A New Zealand honeymoon has all the essential ingredients for taking what’s already a hot romantic fire and turning it into a raging inferno. This includes the extreme and raw natural beauty of the sparsely populated islands and the adorable wildlife down under. Not to mention the urban attractions of modern cities like Auckland and Queenstown.
New Zealand mainly consists of the North & South islands, with a few smaller islands thrown into the mix. Each part has its own tourist attractions, from eco-tours and whale watching to hauntingly beautiful fjords like Milford Sound. Hotels and resorts offer complete seclusion, spa massages, hot tubs, flowers and champagne. They’ll do everything in their power to ensure the stay in the honeymoon suite is well worth remembering. Hotels will also usually provide a wedding planner to hash out the details and make the arrangements.
Where else would it be possible to watch the volcanic wonders and geysers erupt in Rotorua, and take a ‘Lord of the Rings’ themed tour. Rotorua is especially interesting for newlyweds because of the extreme pleasure the natural hot spring spas and pools offer. There’s something about the place which brings couples together.
New Zealand is the youngest country in the world, in the sense that it was the last among the discoveries by explorers looking for new land. It also means that most of the land is untouched and hasn’t yet been spoiled by man and modernity. This makes a New Zealand honeymoon a paradise and a dream in more ways than one.
