Right now you might be searching the internet looking for that last minute dirt cheap airline ticket.  Finding that good deal at the last minute is become less and less of a possibility.

In this article I’m going to show how to find those cheap airline tickets for less than you would expect.

Look Ahead Of Time

The first thing you need to do is to look ahead of time before you decide to buy the tickets.  You can actually look up to 330 days in advance before buy the tickets.

The reason you want to do this is because knowing what the average ticket price is for a flight will help you know what is a cheap deal and what is not.  In fact I was able to save several hundred dollars over the years by doing this.

Pick The Right Day

The next thing you need to do is pick the right day.  This can save you a ton of money, in fact Tuesday’s and Wednesdays tend to be the cheapest day to take a flight.  I recently helped a family member book a flight and they saved over $50 just by booking on Tuesday instead of Saturday.

It also matters what destination you are going to as well.  For example if you are going down to the Caribbean in March you will pay a lot more but if you would go in September the prices will be much less.

Use Rewards

Finally, if you would like to get even cheaper tickets you may want to consider using a rewards card.  This is a particular credit card » Read more: How To Find Cheap Airline Tickets For Vacation
