Traveling on a budget doesn’t equal to traveling second class. In fact, experienced travelers are aware of several ways to arrive at the same places, only they know how to do things cheaper, easier, faster and also enjoy as much as all other people. For example, if you have plans to go to the Disney World, these are some tips for you to save money.

Air Tickets

Flying to Orlando is cheaper during the Winter (January and February) and Fall (Setember and October). Also, the internet is your friend finding cheapest flights, doing as much research as you can. Embarking on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays also saves you some more money than on Fridays, Weekends and Mondays. Exceptions obviously apply for holidays.

Disney also offers a free round trip service from the airport to their resorts. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you can also use buses and shuttles to and from the airport and around the Disney complex. The monorail, by the way, is a cool experience by itself — make sure to use it!

Accomodations

You can either stay at or near Disney World — there is plenty of options to choose from. Doing research prior to your trip always helps to find nice Disney vacations on a budget. » Read more: Tips for planning a Disney budget vacation

The largest city in Canada, Toronto Ontario offers a wide range of entertainment options including  shopping, dining and sightseeing.

The CN tower is the most obvious  entertainment and sightseeing  idea as it’s hard to miss.  Up until 2007, the CN Tower in Toronto was known as the tallest building in the world and can be seen for miles and miles from ground or air.  Diners can experience dining at the top of the building in the 360 restaurant that rotates as you dine offering a fantastic view of the city and more. After dinner, be sure to visit one of two observation decks where you’re over 1400 feet above ground and can view all the way down to the ground via the very safe glass floor. On a clear day one can see into the US, and the Buffalo New York area from the CN Tower’s two observation decks.

Shoppers  often start at the Toronto Eaton Centre which is an indoor mall that offers a wide selection of shopping venues and dining experiences. Located right on the corner of Yonge and Dundas Streets, the Toronto Eaton Center is conveniently located on the subway line and is part of PATH, the indoor underground pathway that features thousands of shops and restaurants.

Concert and sports fans alike can often be found at Toronto’s first and premier stadium: The Rogers Centre. Formerly known as the SkyDome, the Rogers Centre is home to the Toronto Blue Jays baseball club and big name concerts from artists such as U2, The Rolling Stones, and Madonna.

Holiday travel is one of the most stressful things that many of us do but still we do it year after year. We are often traveling to see family or loved ones and spend the Holidays in some place fun. That destination is often a winter wonder land which is great and creates memories for a lifetime but I propose that you do something different with your holiday travel.

I suggest that you choose an exotic location like the Maldives or Lanzarote for you next holiday. Look a package holidays to whatever location you choose, you will probably find that the Christmas season is often the low season for travel to tropical destinations. You can save some money booking a package holiday and you can save even more booking during off season rates.

Visiting exotic locations during the off season has more benefits than just lower prices. You will often be able to see the true culture of a place when it is not overrun by tourists. You will have beaches and museums to yourself and there won’t be a wait at the restaurant. The off season can be the best time to travel.

If you are from the northern hemisphere and not from the south you are used to Christmas being a cold dreary time of year. Sure the holidays brighten the mood but nothing really makes you warm up like the tropical sun, palm trees, and the lap of ocean waves. » Read more: A Tropical Christmas – The Good Kind of Holiday Travel
