By now most all travelers or want to be travelers are well aware of the new terminology of “flashpacking”. But, in case you are one who is still asking what is flashpacking and why you can now find it all over the internet when searching how to backpack around the world, here is a simple definition. Flashpacking is a style of backpacking with more gadgets and a little larger budget for activities, food, and accommodations on your trip.
Flashpacking is often made up of several different groups. They can be the recent college graduates that are not accustomed to leaving to go anywhere without their laptops, cell phones, or ipods. You have the all too popular nomadic working class who are making a living virtually while traveling the world, and then you have those going on vacation and what to budget but will splurge on various aspects of their trip while carrying with them their top of the line equipment.

When you are about to go on a group trip or family vacation, the first thing you should do is create your travel itineraries. It is typically best to get together as a family or group to decide what everyone wants to do throughout the time traveling.
In your itinerary you will want to create sample travel budgets, choose places to visit, and map out which way you prefer to travel- bus, train, airplanes, etc. Once everyone has decided, you can begin typing out your travel plans.
It is best to type this out on the computer so that everyone can read it, and you can even send it through email. You also want to ensure that it is has an appealing format and that it is organized.
Itineraries are best understood when you also organize them by day or part of days. It will also help the group stay on track to make sure you see and do everything you want. Always include start times and when everyone should meet. Also make sure that you put enough time between all outings that the group doesn’t feel rushed. You want to be able to enjoy the sites as well.
For everyone in the group, include contact information and solidified travel dates and times. Phone numbers, email addresses, bus and train routes, departure times, confirmation numbers are all things that are very important.
